JCC Author & Speaker Series : “Justice Shall You Pursue: interfaith and Interracial Cooperation in American Jewish History”

Join us for a lecture examining how Jews have reached across religious and racial boundaries to pursue justice and help create a more diverse and tolerant American society from the twentieth century until today.

Dr. Joshua Furman, a San Antonio native, is the Stanford and Joan Alexander Postdoctoral Fellow in Jewish Studies at Rice University. He is a specialist in American Jewish history, with research interests in family life, fatherhood, and Jewish education since World War II.
