Gathering of Baseline Biome Data for the Albert and Bessie Kronkosky State Natural Area near Boerne James Rice, superintendent of the Albert and Bessie Kronkosky State Natural Area, will present an overview of the establishment and current progress in inventorying the natural assets of this 4,757-acre property on Hwy 46 about 7 miles west of IH-10. You will learn about the volunteer opportunities with a number of survey teams that are cataloging its natural resources prior to its minimal development and opening to the public. Surveys include plants, butterflies, birds, geology, herpetology, etc.
