Intersection of Immigration and Civil Rights / RAICES

January 17, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., dreamt and fought for race equality and civil rights for all. Today, his legacy is celebrated by individuals of all ages, races, color, creed, national origins and political affiliations. Immigrants are people, who still believe in the American dream and who deserve to be treated with the same basic human dignity, that Dr. King’s convictions so strongly advocated for. Please join us as we learn from a panel of experts on the topic of immigration. Event will conclude with free community assistance with DACA/ DAPA process and other legal advice.
