**IN AUSTIN** Lorax Storytime to Defend Texas Trees!

Texas tree advocates will host a storytime at the Texas Capitol to read Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax under some of the building’s historic oak trees. Following the storytime–which we anticipate will feature lawmakers and special guests reading the book–families and advocates will deliver copies of The Lorax to key Texas legislators to urge them against stripping local governments of their tree preservation rules.
