SAMMinistries, an interfaith ministry founded in 1983, is the largest service provider of direct care to the homeless in the San Antonio metro area. In addition to shelter and basic needs, SAMMinistries offers comprehensive services including prevention assistance, case management, life skills training, job training, financial management education, parenting classes, access to medical and dental care, and more.  Last year, SAMMinistries prevented 1,075 families from becoming homeless, provided emergency housing to 2,186 homeless men, women, and children, and assisted 110 families transition from homelessness into self-sufficiency.  For more information, please visit their website at www.samm.org.
