Dad’s Building Lifetimes of Love

2nd Annual Event With Guest Speaker State Rep. Mike Villarreal and MC- Actor and Film Star Jesse Borrego. In recognizing that since 2004, we have also done work with men that matters for ending mens’ violence toward women and girls. This year P.E.A.C.E. Initiative partners with Por Vida Academy Charter High School, Palabra Alliance and Verizon to pass the Guidon of Commitment to this City-wide effort to make Dad’s, Men, Youth and boys a vital part of our work. A day to honor and enjoy fathers in PEACE, LOVE, DIGNITY, RESPECT, & TRUST along with our community partners. Together with our Dads & children we will play fun games. Recognizing the power of the involved Dad who knows and understands the value of his role in the lives of his children. As we share responsibility for the promotion of men’s health & wellness and their ability to make positive contributions to their families and communities. There will be fun, food, games, the Push Rods Car Club, an awards ceremony to honor dads. An Altar to honor victims of domestic violence.
