As we enter another Election Season Americans on the right and the left push and shove to capture political victories that will shape our nation—What’s your strategy for entering the struggle? Many Christians take part in the political process without reflecting on what it means to be politically active as a Christian. In this course, Greg Richards will explore ways that participants can re-imagine political engagement. He will include explorations of the Old and New Testament’s political-matrix and philosophy as well as a survey of pivotal Christian thinkers throughout history. Finally, participants will envision how Christian theology may speak to contemporary politics. This class will occur in the heat of the race for the White House, making it timely and as relevant as ever.
This class is THREE Wednesdays: November 2nd, 9th, and 16th, 7-9 p.m. $35
