**** Candlelight Vigil to Support the Chow Train @ Maverick Park

The peaceCENTER will be facilitating a candlelight vigil @ Maverick Park to support The Chow Train. Joan Cheever was cited (a possible $2,000 fine) for feeding the hungry & homeless last week and was told she would be cited and possibly arrested in she showed up again this week. Please bring a candle and a sign (suggested: “San Antonio is a city of Love, not of hate“) Please do not bring food of your own to distribute: it may muddy the waters. Joan has a very good case that could change the way the city operates. We will not interfere with the police. Pass it on!!!
