Often compared to Cat Stevens or Donovan, Dada calls his music Spiritual Eco-Folk. Since he broke onto the world stage at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992 where he appeared before 10,000 people with the Dalai Lama, Dada has toured in more than 40 countries, and played and recorded with world class musicians from bands including the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Soft Machine, Gong and the Paul Winter Band.

His songs speak of spirituality, peace and love for our endangered Earth. He takes the audience on a journey, blending music, images, stories, humor and meditation to create an experience that touches the heart and awakens a new sense of hope for ourselves and our beautiful planet.

Dada will be joined by local musical talent Kevin Lewis on fretless bass and Kim Mackenzie on backing vocals and violin.

Originally from New Zealand, Dada Nabhaniilananda, aka The Monk Dude, is a yoga monk, a musician, an author and a professional speaker. His first love was music, beginning piano at age four and he has been composing music since age eleven.
