A Forum for Social Workers And The Public: The Life of Dorothy Day

10:00 am A view of the movie “Entertaining Angels” followed by a panel review and open forum
1:00 pm to 5pm: Review of The Life of Dorothy Day and interactive sessions addressing the History of the Times, An Expose of Literature read by Dorothy, and Related Policy Discussions addressing Homelessness, Women’s Issues, and Peace Issues.
Presenters include Maria Berriozabal, Former Congressman Ciro Rodriguez, Sr. Margit Nagy, CPD, Susan Ives, Rosalyn Collier, Mario Serrano, OFM, Fr. Eddie Bernal, Dr. Chris Plauche, Debra Colorado and others.
Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the Worden School at 210-431-3969. Please ask for Anna Marie Ramirez.
There is no charge for this conference and six ceu’s in Ethics will be awarded. Four Ethics CEU’s will be awarded if attending the afternoon only.

(FYI: This conference is in cooperation with one to be presented at the Oblate School of Theology on 10/30 and 31, which will feature national speakers and a dinner, and breakout sessions.)
