DESCRIPTION:lease join Jan Olsen\, Monica Gonzalez\, Therese Huntzinger\, Edie Britton and Joyce Townsend to learn more about the work of RAICES (Refuge and Immigration Center for Education and Legal Services) \nEvery day asylum seeking women and children pass through San Antonio. Volunteers with RAICES welcome these families with backpacks containing travel supplies essential for their journeys. Join us as we prepare backpacks that make a difference in their lives and symbolize a welcoming community. We need lightweight\, decent quality backpacks (eg $15 Jansport). You bring the backpack and we provide the supplies. \nSuggested donation $25 plus a backpack. \nPlease bring family and friends. Lite fare and beverages provided.
