DESCRIPTION: \nJoin the MSWC staff for our next community conversation\, Restorative Justice: An Alternate to Disciplinary Policies in Our Schools. \nWe are fortunate to have Dr. Sofia Bahena\, Assistant Professor of Education Leadership and Policy Studies\, and Mr. Robert Rico\, Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice from the University of Texas San Antonio. They will be leading a presentation on punitive practices\, national trends\, and ways that we can decrease disciplinary practices that push people out of San Antonio schools. \nLight refreshmants and snacks will be served.\nSeating is limited\, so please arrive early.\nDonations welcomed.\nPlease share widely. \n
