DESCRIPTION: \nThe St. Mary’s School of Law and Catholic Lawyers’ Guild of San Antonio invite members of the legal community from all faiths to the 64th Annual Red Mass at 6 p.m. on Thursday\, Oct. 6 at San Fernando Cathedral. \nThe Most Rev. Gustavo García-Siller\, M.Sp.S.\, Archbishop of San Antonio\, will be the principal celebrant and homilist. The Hon. Xavier Rodriguez\, United States District Court for the Western District of Texas\, will offer welcome remarks. \nSchedule of Events\n5:45 p.m.\, Processional\n6 p.m.\, Red Mass begins \nThe custom of a special mass for the judicial community arose in France\, England and Italy in the early 13th century to mark the opening of the courts of law and to ask guidance for all who seek justice.
