SUMMARY:Rally in Support of San Antonio Muslim Community
DESCRIPTION:TX21 Indivisible is again partnering with San Antonio progressives in opposing yet another anti Muslim group in our community. Last month\, many of you joined us in protest of an ACT for America chapter meeting led by Roy White at Village Parkway Baptist Church. The following day\, ACT for America terminated their relationship with Roy White (if you’re not familiar with Roy\, I encourage you to read this WaPo article).  \nHe has now started a new group\, Patriots of San Antonio\, with the same anti Muslim message and spreading of inaccurate information. \nThe first meeting for this new group is next week on Tuesday\, March 21st. We will again peacefully rally outside Village Parkway Baptist Church\, 3002 Village Parkway\, San Antonio\, 78251 from 5:30 to 6:30 in the evening (sign suggestions\, No hate speech in our backyard\, I stand with Muslims\, Islam is not the enemy\, America’s strength comes from diversity\, etc). Our purpose is to make it clear to Roy White\, Patriots of San Antonio and Village Parkway Baptist Church that San Antonio will not tolerate hate in our community and when a vulnerable group in our community is targeted by bigotry\, San Antonio shows up to stand with them. \nPlease share this with your groups.
