DESCRIPTION: \nRefugee women and children are constantly being dropped off by ICE at our downtown bus station after their release from detention centers. They are disoriented\, often have no money or food\, and can easily become victims to criminals and traffickers. \nCome by our church\, San Antonio Mennonite\, Tuesday night\, 7pm. Learn how to you can help. \nTraining includes identifying\, approaching\, guiding\, orienting refugees to basic legal rights\, passing out backpacks full of resources\, basic medical support\, and gathering data to send to volunteer groups in destination cities. \n
