SUMMARY:Compassion Fatigue Summit
DESCRIPTION: \nJoin the San Antonio Area Foundation for a one-day Compassion Fatigue Summit designed for nonprofit professional caregivers working with children and adults with disabilities\, seniors or animal serving-organizations. \nIn the morning\, Amy Cunningham\, Talent Management Consultant for CHRISTUS Health and certified Compassion Fatigue Educator will speak about “Helping the Helper – Overcoming Compassion Fatigue\, Stress\, and Burnout.” She will help participants learn how to recognize compassion fatigue\, manage the symptoms and build resiliency\, and establish a better work-life balance. \nWe’ll spend the afternoon participating in interactive sessions learning about physical\, mental\, emotional and occupational self-care practices.
