DESCRIPTION:AACAT is the Alamo Area Coalition Against Trafficking.   This 1½ day conference targets a wide audience with the goal of reaching law enforcement\, healthcare professionals\, victim services providers\, social workers and others that work with victims of human trafficking. \nAgencies speaking include: \n• Child Protective Services\n• Bexar County District Attorney’s Office\n• Esperanza Court\n• Magdalena House\n• Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital\n• Ransomed Life\n• The Rape Crisis Center\n• Texas Attorney General’s Office \n6.5 CEU and 2.5 Ethics CEU for: LMFT\, LPC and LCDC\, Social Workers\, and Psychologists (LP\, PLP\, LPA\, LSSP) \n4 CNE available for nurses \nSCHEDULE: \nSept 27: 8am-12pm\, 1:30-4:15pm\n• Check-in starts at 7am (must pre-register\, no day-of registration)\n• Lunch not provided\nSept 28: 8am-12pm \nYou do not need to print out your ticket for admission.
